Nedbank and Gabriel Continue the Spirit of 67 Minutes for Mandela

Gabriel, the premier shock absorber brand of Control Instruments-Automotive, joined Nedbank Middelburg branch to paint the Middelburg town’s old age home as part of  67 minutes for Mandela celebrations.

Staff of the two organisations came together and painted the rooms of the old age home and also raised funds which will go towards buying groceries for the home.

“The Gabriel brand has always been about the entire value proposition to its customers. We have a number of initiatives running to help communities. Gabriel recently celebrated its 100th anniversary and its true South African brand,” said Sean Staley, Control Instruments Automotive – Divisional Head – Ride Control.

Gabriel this year achieved top position in the shock absorber category of research conducted by Target Group Index (TGI). TGI’s ICON Brand Survey is the largest of its kind in South Africa. More than 15 000 consumers were surveyed, representing over 19,8-million adult South Africans.
