Seventeen people were injured after two taxi’s collided on the R102 near Queen Nandi Drive this morning at around 07h30. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed with the wreckages and accident debris, the patients were found at the side of the road. After paramedics stabelised the injured on scene they transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
