Numerous people were injured this morning when the bakkie they were traveling in overturned early this morning.
The incident occurred in Landsdowne Road in Khayelitsha in the Western Cape.
ER24 Paramedics and other services transported the injured to Khayelitsha provincial hospital for further treatment
One person was declared dead on scene after being flung from the vehicle along with the other occupants.
It is believed that it was raining at the time of the incident and that only one vehicle was involved.
The scene was handed over to authorities.
