A biker tragically died after his bike collided into the rear of a bakkie along the Sterkfontein Road at around 19h40 last night. Details to the cause of the accident are still sketchy and will remain a subject for police comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the biker a man in his fifties lying on the road with life threatening injuries. Paramedics tried for almost an hour to resuscitate the patient but he tragically died on scene due to the extensive injuries that he sustained.
