South Africa, September 2013 – TomTom South Africa, today announce the exclusive local support agreement with Regenersis, a strategic outsourcing partner to leading consumer technology companies.

The service offers the following four pillars of support;
- Local Repair centre to customers in South Africa
- Pick up and drop off service to anywhere in South Africa
- 48 hour turnaround time (excl. transportation)
- Two year warranty on the repair
Customers will need to take their devices back to the retailer from which they purchased the unit where they will be given a tracking number. Regenersis will then collect the device and take it to their warehouse in Midrand, Johannesburg where they will assess the work to be done on the device and carry out the repairs. Another easy way for customers to be able to send a device for repairs is simply by calling the TomTom Call Centre directly on 0800-980-670 and they will collect the device from the customers preferred collection point, anywhere in South Africa.
The service offers a nationwide 48 hour turnaround time (excluding transportation). Customers can call the TomTom Call Centre on 0800-980-670 with their tracking number to find out how far along in the process their device is. Once the work on the device has been completed, it will be delivered either back to the store and the customer will be notified by telephone to collect it, or the device will be delivered to the preferred collection point. With a two year warranty on all PND devices, maintaining your TomTom with Regenersis helps you go further.
