Shortly before midday on Tuesday ER24 Paramedics were called out to the N12 at the SN12 Snake Rd truck firenake road exit in Benoni for a truck collision.
On arrival paramedics found a delivery truck on fire on the Offramp of the N12, Benoni fire department arrived shortly after and quickly extinguished the blaze.
The driver and only occupant of the truck managed to escape prior to the cab becoming engulfed.
No other vehicles were involved and local authorities were on scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
