Just after 8am this morning a truck overturned on Old Dutch Road just before Warwick Ave.
On arrival paramedics found that a truck had overturned spilling its contents on the roadway. Bothe the driver and passenger had sustained injuries and were stabilized by Rescue Care paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care that they required.
It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS will be investigating.
Traffic was severely affected as the offramp from the N3 was closed for a few hours whilst emergency teams worked to clear the wreckage.
