On Friday evening just around 9pm Rescue Care paramedics were called to a serious collision on the M4 South bound at M7 offramp.
On arrival paramedics from Rescue Care and ER24 found that two vehicles had collided and both had overturned before coming to rest on their wheels. Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that one person from each vehicle had sustained various injuries. They were stabilized on the scene before being transported to hospital further care.
It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
Traffic was severely affected as the M4 South was closed from the M7 onramp whilst emergency personal worked to clear the scene.
