Rescue Care paramedics were called to a serious collision involving a Bike and a vehicle at the intersection of Franscois Road and Nicholson Road just before 11am.
On arrival paramedics found that a car and a bike had collided in the intersection before the biker lost control of the bike and collided with the pavement. Paramedics quickly assessed the 19 year old motorbike driver however unfortunately he had suffered fatal injuries and passed away before paramedics arrival. The driver of the other vehicle sustained no injuries.
It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
