On Friday night just after 6:30pm Rescue Care paramedics were called to St Augustines Road in Malvern, Durban for a motorbike accident.
On arrival Rescue Care paramedics found that a 45year old male had been driving his bike when he somehow lost control and collided with the barrier. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the biker however due to the severity of his injuries the gentleman passed away. He had suffered severe injuries.
It is unclear what caused the collision however the wet weather is thought to have been a contributing factor.
SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
