Rescue Care paramedics were called to a serious Bike accident on Jacobs Road around 3pm.
Paramedics arrived to find a seriously injured biker laying in the roadway after he had collided with a bakkie. Advanced Life Support intervention was needed to assist in stabilizing the injured biker, once stabilized the man was taken to St Augustine’s Hospital for further care that he required.
It is unclear what caused the collision however it is suspected that one of the vehicles failed to stop at a stop street.
Traffic was affected whilst emergency personal worked to stabilize the injured biker.
