Crisis Medical And Mini SMG Rocks Launch “Mini Medical Vehicle”

Crisis Medical and Mini SMG Rocks have teamed up to launch the “Mini Medical Vehicle”, a Mini Countryman S ahead of the upcoming festive season.

Peter Caley, Dealer Principal for SMG Rocks said, “We felt that this would give us as a company an opportunity to contribute towards saving lives in what can often be a tragic festive season. We are really excited to team up with Crisis Medical as a leading emergency medical service provider and have no doubt that our Mini will save lives during the next 2 months”.

The Mini Medical Vehicle will respond to all medical emergencies logged to the central control room through 0861 1 CRISIS/274747 to render quick and efficient first response. The vehicle will see its first active duty as the lead medical vehicle for the Elite Men in the upcoming Amashova Durban Classic which will be held on 13 October 2013 where Crisis Medical is the official medical provider to cyclists.

The Mini Medical Vehicle will also be on 24 hour standby during the Matric Rage festival in Ballito and Umhlanga from 28 November – 6 December 2013 where Crisis Medical is the official medical service provider and partner of Red Frogs. Parents will rest easy knowing that their child’s health is fully taken care of during this period.

Neil Powell, Crisis Medical Operations Director said, “Such a partnership is unique in Durban and allows our paramedics to get to scenes quickly to ensure medical attention is rendered immediately. There is no doubt the vehicle has a “cool” factor and will turn heads and attract visitors during the festive season. We are proud that SMG Rocks has the confidence in us to give us such a vehicle and I assure you it is no slouch!”.
