Netcare 911 paramedics, its rescue unit and other services responded to an accident at the intersection of Albertina Sisulu Street and Ntemi Piliso Street in Newtown, Johannesburg this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that two minibus vehicles had collided resulting in fifteen people sustaining injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
The injured people were treated on scene before they were transported to various hospitals for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation
