8 people, all believed to be from one vehicle, sustained various injuries when the sedan they were travelling in overturned yesterday afternoon.
Paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 18:00 and found that all eight occupants were flung from the vehicle as it overturned numerous times on the R706 Jagersfontein Road in the Free State.
Sadly, two of the occupants lost their lives on the scene and were declared deceased by paramedics. Three other patients sustained serious injuries.
The patients were transported to the Pelonomi Provincial Hospital and Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein.
It is unknown what had caused this unfortunate fatal collision. Relevant authorities were on the scene to investigate what had happened.
