Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Old Vereeniging Road in Thinasonke, Alberton this evening.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motor vehicle with two occupants had overturned. Both men were ejected out of the vehicle and tragically one man lost his life, while the other man was found in a critical condition.
The man was treated on scene and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care he required.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unknown, and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
