A twenty-five-year-old man is in a serious condition after he was struck by a vehicle on the R102 near Frasers in Ballito this afternoon at approximately 16h00. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the roadway. After he was stabilized and deftly immobilized on a trauma board they transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
