Three people were injured after their vehicle collided with the Armco barriers on the N2 south near the M7 this morning at around 04h30. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the patients at the side of the roadway with the crumpled remains of the vehicle coming to rest in the bush next to the highway. After the seriously injured patients were stabilised on scene, medics transported them to an area hospital for the care that they required.
