Shortly after 5am on Sunday, ER24 Paramedics were dispatched to Main Reef Road in Lilianton Boksburg for a serious motor vehicle collision.
ER24 along with Boksburg Fire Department arrived on scene and found that a single light motor had left the road crashing into a business perimeter fence coming to rest on its roof in an overflow canal.
Paramedics along with the Fire Department quickly got to the vehicle to asses the people involved and found that a man in his 30′s had unfortunately already succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead on scene.
A second male also in his 30′s was still in the vehicle and immediately assessed by paramedics, he had suffered moderate injuries and was in a stable condition, the jaws of life along with other rescue equipment was required to free the man. ER24 Paramedics stabalised the man on scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further care.

The local police were on scene and will be investigating all necessary details surrounding the fatal incident.
