Dashboard Camera captures illegal and reckless overtaking
We find in media reports more and more mentions of the phrase “Head–On -Collisions”. It is important to note that these crashes are perhaps the most preventable and the causes thereof the most easily identifiable!
Nearly all head-on collisions are caused by either of the following:
– Illegal overtaking
– Unsafe Overtaking
– Distracted Driving
– Driver Fatigue /Driver tiredness.
It seems that far too many crashes are caused by drivers showing a reckless disregard for safety! A visitor to the Arrive Alive website shared the above dashboard video of ons such reckless driver passing illegally across a barrier line ahead of oncoming traffic!
