A taxi and two light motor vehicles collided into one another on the N2 north outside of the old airport in Durban at around 7:30 this morning.
The taxi rolled after the collision took place and a woman believed to be in her 30′s was ejected from the vehicle. She suffered fatal injuries and was sadly declared dead on scene by paramedics. Her injuries had been too severe and no more could be done to save her life.
The remaining occupants of the taxi and those who were travelling in the light motor vehicles, luckily survived the collision with minor injuries only. The patients were treated on scene and taken by ambulance to nearby medical facilities.
