Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident at the intersection of McKenzie Street and the N8 in Bloemfontein this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motor vehicle and heavy goods vehicle had collided resulting in the driver of the motor vehicle tragically losing his life.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
