Two cyclists were injured yesterday when a truck lost it’s load of crates containing empty bottles on the N12.
ER24 Paramedics and local fire services were called to the scene between Potchefstroom and Klerksdorp to find that two cyclists had been injured when the load came of the back of the truck.
They sustained moderate injuries and were treated by paramedics on the scene before being transported to the Potchefstroom Hospital for further medical treatment.
The driver of the truck was unharmed and the N12 was closed for some time pending the removal and cleaning of the broken glass and other debris.
