Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident in Freemansville, Klerksdorp in the North West this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motor vehicle and motorcycle had collided resulting in the motorcyclist sustaining serious injuries.
The man was treated on scene before he was transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
