A nine – year – old – girl sustained serious injuries after she was struck by a car along Genazzano Road Tongaat this evening at around 18h30. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the child lying on the roadway. After she was stabilised and deftly immobilized on a trauma board paramedics transported her to a local hospital for the care that she required.
