Two people were injured in three separate accident s on the N2 north between the Illovo River bridge and the Amanzimtoti C B D this morning at around 06h00. Exact detail to the cause of the accidents is still speculative at this time.
At the first accident by the Amanzimtoti C B D two cars collided and then veered off the roadway, one man was seriously injured. The second accident happened on the North bound near the Illovo River. According to the driver his vehicle hit a puddle of water and then spun out before rolling, the driver was ejected from the vehicle and was found under the barriers with serious injuries. The third accident happened on the north bound lane between the Winkle Spruit off ramp and Dooneside, the vehicle spun out in the wet and overturned several times, fortunately the driver escaped uninjured.
After the injured were stabilised at the scene paramedics transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
