Biker dies on M4 highway

On Saturday night Rescue Care paramedics responded to a serious bike accident on the M4 South near Quality Street just before 10pm.

On arrival paramedics found that 40 year old male who had been riding a motorbike had collided with a car before loosing control of his bike. On Rescue Care paramedics arrival it was found that unfortunately the biker had sustained fatal injuries and there was nothing further paramedics could do to save him. He was declared dead on the scene.

It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating the accident further.
