Earlier this morning there was an accident on the N3 north bound, between the Bedeville and Tugela toll plaza’s.
KZN Emergency Medical Services and local emergency services responded to the incident. When they arrived on scene they discovered that two vehicles had collided, in what appeared to be a head on collision.
Tragically two people died on scene and another four people sustained serious injuries, they were treated on scene by paramedics before being transported to Ladysmith hospital by private ambulance.
The cause of the accident is unknown and is being investigated by the police.
