Motorist flees scene- 30 Year old pedestrian hospitalised

A hit and run collision left a 30-year-old man with a fracture in Claremont in Western Cape this afternoon.

The pedestrian got knocked down just after 1pm in Main Road near the crossing with Station Road, before the driver of the vehicle failed to stop and fled the scene.

The man was treated by ER24 crew members from the Constantia office, with assistance from an Advanced Life Support Paramedic.

He was stabelised and transported to the Groote Schuur Hospital for further medical treatment.
