Two people are critically injured after an accident on the N2 south near the Umhlanga off ramps this afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics are at the scene and have found two people trapped in the wreckages, one of the vehicles have burst into flames. While firemen are trying to combat the flames paramedics are working fervently to stabilise the injured.

Update
Three vehicle collided on the N2 south , the drivers from two of the vehicles were trapped in the wreckages while the third driver escaped uninjured. Tragically one of the men died on scene as he was trapped in the wreckage while his vehicle was burning. The other driver was seriously injured and after they extricated and stabilised him, paramedics transported the man to a local hospital for the care that he required.
