One man was injured after a fourteen-wheeler had overturned on the N2 north near the Umkomaas off-ramp this morning at around 07h00. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the patient at the side of the road. After paramedics stabilised the injured driver they transported him to a hospital in Scottburgh for the care that he required.
