Taxi crash leaves 11 injured on the M4 Durban bound

Eleven people were left injured just after 06:30 this morning on the M4 Durban bound just after M7 in Durban.

Rescue Care paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a fully laden taxi had collided with another vehicle. Paramedics quickly triaged the injured and found that eleven people had sustained various injuries. More ambulances were called to assist and once all of the injured were stabilized they were transported by Rescue Care to various Durban Hospitals for further care that they required.

It is unclear what caused the collision however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.

Traffic was severely affected as morning commuters made their way to work and two of the lanes were obstructed by the collision.
