A male in his forties was critically injured when the taxi he was travelling in overturned on Ngoje Crest in Marionhill, Kwa-Zulu Natal this morning.
The taxi allegedly lost control, overturned, crashed through a fence and landed on its roof while it was travelling in the residential area.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene just before 08:00 to find one critically injured man with severe spinal injuries.
They treated the man along with the five seriously injured patients as well as nine who sustained minor injuries.
All patients were transported to various hospitals for further care.
