Earlier today, ER24 paramedics responded to Church street in Bloemfontein where a truck had lost control, coming to its final stop in a field.
One patient, male, suffered moderate injuries after being trapped in the vehicle after part of the cab had pinned his legs. The “jaws of life”equipment had to be used to free the patient, where he was immediately taken to Pelonomi Provincial Hospital.
The cause of the incident is still unknown and investigations are underway.
