Just after 05:30am on Saturday morning Rescue Care paramedics were called to a serious accident on Varsity Drive in Reservoir Hills.
On arrival paramedics found that a single vehicle had lost control and collided with a light pole and a wall before coming to a stop. Injured passengers were found laying on both sides of the roadway. Immediately more ambulances were called as well as Advanced Life Support units. A total of five occupants had been injured with two sustaining very serious injuries. Once all of the injured were stabilized on the scene they were transported by Rescue Care and ER24 to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.
It is unclear what caused the single vehicle collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
