Rescue Care paramedics attended yet another fatal bike accident tonight just after 9pm at the intersection of Tara Road and Beacon Road in the Bluff.
Paramedics arrived to find the unresponsive biker laying on the side of the road. The severely damaged bike laying in the roadway together with the vehicle that collided with him. A Rescue Care Advanced Life Support paramedic immediately checked for signs of life however found that the patient had no pulses, a full resuscitation lasting over forty minutes was performed on the patient however due to the severity of his multiple injuries the patient passed away on the scene.
It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating the matter further.
