Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an incident approximately thirty kilometres south of Polokwane this morning around 01h00.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a heavy goods vehicle had burst into flames resulting in approximately nine people sustaining injuries.
All the injured people were transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the fire and preceding events will remain the subject of a Fire Department investigation.
