Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the R21 near Nellmapius Road in Cornwall Hill in Pretoria this morning after 07h50.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motor vehicle with five occupants had overturned resulting in two people tragically losing their lives, one person was found in a critical condition and two people sustained moderate injuries.
The injured people were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
