Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian accident on Mosisi in Soshanguve this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a man was in a critical condition after he was knocked over by a heavy goods vehicle.
The critically injured man was rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care that he required.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
