Two people have been left with moderate injuries only after a light delivery vehicle overturned on the N3 east bound before the Pavillion earlier.
Paramedics from ER24 Durban arrived on scene to find both occupants of the vehicle had luckily managed to free themselves from the wreckage. They were treated on scene before being placed on specialised stretchers for suspected spinal cord injuries and transported by ambulance to a near by hospital for further care.
It is unknown what caused the vehicle to over turn however the local authorities were on scene and investigations are under way.
Traffic was severely affected and Metro Police were on scene to assist.
