15 injured in vehicle collision at the Stanger and Argyle Road intersection in Durban

Fifteen adults were injured during a collision at the Stanger and Argyle Road intersection in Durban this afternoon.

ER24 paramedics arrived on scene to find 15 adults who sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Thirteen of those injured were commuters of the taxi which was extensively damaged and lay on its side. The light motor vehicle which collided with the taxi was carrying 2 adults who sustained minor injuries.

All of the patients were treated on scene and thereafter transported to various hospitals for further medical care.

Evidence on scene indicates that the taxi overturned after it collided with the light motor vehicle.

The exact circumstances leading to the collision are currently under investigation.
