One person was fortunate to sustain minor injuries when his vehicle rolled and hit a tree on the M13 Salisbury in Westville this morning.
ER24 paramedics responded to the scene where a bakkie was stationed on the roadside and its body heavily damaged.
Paramedics began their assessments of the patient, finding that he had minor soft tissue injuries on his chest. The patient was treated and immobilized before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The driver told paramedics that he apparently lost control of his vehicle on the wet road causing his vehicle to overturn.
Local authorities were on scene for investigations.
