Durban Flying Squad Narcotics Team arrests another two drug dealers

On Wednesday, 12 March 2014, members from the Durban Flying Squad Narcotics Team strike again, this time in Durban CBD when they arrested two suspects and recovered drugs to the street value of more than R200 000. The two suspects aged 24 and 29 are due to appear today, 13 March 2014, in the Durban Magistrates’ Court facing charges of dealing in drugs.

The members were doing their normal patrol in Durban when they followed up information about drugs in the area. They spotted their suspects and searched them. The suspects were found in possession of heroin and pure uncut heroin. The members arrested the alleged drug dealers and charged them for dealing in drugs.

The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Mmamonnye Ngobeni congratulated the Narcotics Task Teams for their continued efforts in eradicating drug dealers within the Province. “We are very pleased that our members have not loosened their grip on drug dealers. Drug dealers must know that their days are numbered,” she said.
