A man is in a serious condition after he was hit by a train near Shakas Kraal train station on the Natal North coast at around 19h00. Exact detail to the incident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics , firemen and the police searched the area for some time and in the end found the seriously injured patient in the bush near the railway lines. After he was treated and skillfully immobilized on a trauma, board they transported the man to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
