Three people were injured when their vehicle overturned on the N3 south near Van Reenens pass.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene to find the vehicle and its trailer lying in the grassy field next to the road. On closer inspection, paramedics found three people with injuries ranging from minor to moderate. All three patients were treated for their injuries, immobilised on spine boards and transported to Ladysmith hospital for further treatment.
The driver later said that the collision occurred when he apparently lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
