Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the N1 north under the Haldon Road Bridge in Bloemfontein in the early morning hours of this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a bus and light delivery vehicle were involved in a rear-end collision resulting in one man found to be in a serious condition.
The man was treated on scene before he was transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject to of a police investigation.
