A family of three was killed in a head-on collision on Malibongwe Drive, near Muldersdrift, Johannesburg West last night.
The family which comprised of a baby and her parents, were ejected from their bakkie and died before ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, near the Lion Park.
In the second vehicle was one entrapped patient who was extricated in a 45-minute operation and seriously injured. The two other occupants of this vehicle sustained minor injuries.
All patients were transported to nearby hospitals for further medial care.
The exact cause of the collision is under investigation.
