Fifteen adults sustained minor to serious injuries when a taxi caught alight on Witkoppen Road in Fourways, Johannesburg this afternoon.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene (near Montecasino), fire department personnel had extinguished the fire and the 14 commuters had climbed out of the taxi.
The patients from the taxi were treated for minor to moderate injuries.
The taxi caught fire after it collided with a light motor vehicle.
