Four injured after bakkie collision on the M13 in KwaZulu Natal

Four people escaped serious injury when their bakkie was rear-ended by another vehicle on the M13 in KwaZulu Natal early this morning.

ER24 Durban paramedics responded to the highway and found four ‘shaken’ patients sitting in the back of their bakkie. Paramedics’ assessments revealed that the four men sustained only minor injuries.

The patients were treated and then transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The driver of one of the vehicles told paramedics that his bonnet loosened and hit the windshield. This caused him to stop the car abruptly resulting in the second vehicle crashing into his vehicle.

Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
