Five people were injured after a bakkie with workers overturned on the M13 near Gillits this afternoon at around 14h45. Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle was traveling on the west bound lane when he veered off the roadway and overturned, ejecting the patients onto the road.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and after triaging found that one person had sustained critical injuries while four others sustained serious injuries. After that injured were stabilised at the scene , paramedics transported them to various hospitals in the area for the care that they required.
