Two people including a child sustained moderate injuries on Saturday night in a MVA on the N2 near Umhlanga off ramp.
Crisis Medical Paramedics were first to arrive on scene, at the accident that involved 5 vehicles.
Both sides of the busy highway were severely affected by the accident. Crews from various services assessed all patients from all vehicles, two people were taken to Ethekwini Heart Hospital by Crisis Medical for further care.
SAPS and authorities were on scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
